Based in beautiful Kettlewell, North Yorkshire Flying High Falconry was established to provide you with the opportunity to engage in the ancient art of hunting with trained birds of prey.
Flying High Falconry offers you the opportunity to have the ultimate experience of flying and hunting with trained hawks. With the land we have available and the experience of our falconers we can “almost” guarantee a thrilling day of hunting where you will be “centre stage”.
Remember this is a totally “Hands on Day”, you will not watch a falconer showing you how its done, you will be “the” falconer. Wherever possible we offer a 2:1 ratio of our staff with our visitors so there will be someone close at hand to assist.
The scenery in the Yorkshire Dales is simply stunning and from our hunting ground the views are exceptional, based upon the “Calendar Girls” idyllic village set in the heart of North Yorkshire. Hotel accommodation can be arranged for those of you wishing to make it a long weekend.
Due to the landscape, weather and physical demands imposed by hunting over our land we would like to place a lower age limit upon our guests of twelve years. For anyone with limited mobility we are always happy to provide simple experience days without the hunting, this allows us to stay close to the farmhouse and other drop off points.
